Also known as the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba. And if you're looking for a historic building in which you can see beautiful Moorish architecture, alongside Renaissance and Baroque styles (added later of course). A little hint, if you want to get in for free with smaller crowds, La Mezquita is free from 8:30-9:20 (Mon-Sat) but they kick people out promptly at 9:20. We took a super early train to get here in time. It did take us a bit to walk from the train here (15-20 minutes because we didn't know where we were going), so plan ahead if you want to get in for free!
The Roman Bridge (Puente Romano) is located very close to La Mezquita and is worth taking a walk over.
We had some time to kill before our train left, and wandered near this Alcazar. It turned out to be a nice little stop with beautiful gardens.
